  248. copies of Chaosoft products may be used only for a limited time,
  249. with the sole purpose of determining wherether they suit your needs.

  253. Registered (licensed) versions of Chaosoft products are distributed
  254. by and available from Pik a Program, Inc.  Please *do not* send your

  291. Folder Guard for Windows 95
  292. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  293. Folder Guard is a software-only security solution for personal or
  294. publicly accessible computers running the Windows 95 operating
  295. system.  Its features include:

  297. o Complete control over access to folders of your choice.  You can
  298.   hide any folder, so that its contents will be invisible to all
  299.   applications including Explorer, MS Office, MS-DOS programs,
  300.   common dialogs, etc.

  355. File Manager Guard (or, for short, FM Guard) is a powerful utility
  356. that allows one to selectively disable features and capabilities of
  357. File Manager and some other Windows components.

  359. After installing FM Guard, you will be able to prevent user(s) from
  360. performing any or all commands of File Manager, from running
  361. undesirable programs, browsing hidden files, changing file
  362. attributes, etc.  FM Guard allows you to select which drives should
  363. NOT be accessible via File Manager and Common Dialogs ('Open', 'Save
  364. As', etc.).  It even provides you with the possibility to keep the
  365. size and location of the File Manager window in the same place on
  366. the screen!  And if you need to restore the capabilities of File
  367. Manager for your use, just enter a password and they are back.

  369. Note for Windows 95 users: FM Guard restricts only the "old" File 
  370. Manager, which is still available under Windows 95 as WINFILE.EXE.
  371. If you need to restrict the new Windows 95 shell, you may find that

  378. StepUp'98 (formerly StepUp'96) is a set of utilities designed to
  379. extend the Windows user interface.  When you install StepUp'98, 
  380. additional commands are added to the menus and taskbar of Windows, 
  381. making you able to work with Windows easier and faster.

  383. The previous version of StepUp'98, StepUp'96, was featured in the
  384. May'97 issue of Windows Magazine, Superior Shareware section.  It
